Marco Island has been home to my family for nearly 30 years. It is where we've raised our children, built our business, formed lifelong relationships, and created a life rooted in this community.
As Marco continues to grow and evolve, I believe we must remain focused on protecting the qualities that make our island unique while ensuring our city government remains effective, responsive, and fiscally responsible.
I am running for City Council because I care deeply about Marco Island's future and the quality of life we enjoy today.

A Lifetime Invested in Marco Island
Jason Bailey has called Marco Island home for nearly three decades. Along with his wife, Lisa, he has raised a family, built successful businesses, and established deep roots throughout the community.
As the majority owner of FCI Homes, Jason understands
the importance of responsible planning, sound financial management, accountability, and long-term decision-making.
His experience serving on the Marco Island Planning Board has provided valuable insight into the opportunities and challenges facing our city.
Jason believes effective leadership begins with listening, understanding different perspectives, and making thoughtful decisions that serve the entire Marco Island community.
Why I'm Running
Marco Island has been a wonderful place to raise our family and has provided so many opportunities for my family and me.
My hope is that Marco continues to be the kind of special place that draws people from all walks of life to visit, live, laugh, celebrate, and create lasting memories with their friends and families for generations to come. I believe public service is about protecting what makes our community special, addressing challenges thoughtfully, and making responsible decisions that preserve Marco Island's exceptional quality of life for the future.
As your City Councilor, I will focus on protecting Marco's character, providing effective leadership, and being a diligent steward of city resources.
I am committed to listening, making thoughtful decisions, and working collaboratively to strengthen the Marco Island community for the interests of the entire community.

Protecting Marco's Character
Marco Island has a unique identity that residents treasure. As our community evolves, we must balance progress with preservation—protecting our neighborhoods, maintaining high standards of design and development, preserving our natural beauty, cleaning up and protecting our waterways, and making decisions that keep Marco Island the special place we are proud to call home.
Fiscal Responsibility
Every tax dollar should be spent wisely. I support careful planning, disciplined spending, and long-term financial stewardship that protects taxpayers while keeping our core services strong and reliable.
Infrastructure & Long-Term Planning
Infrastructure isn’t just about what we build—it’s about how well we maintain it. Roads, utilities, stormwater systems, parks, and public facilities need ongoing investment so we avoid costly emergencies later.
Efficient, Responsive City Government
City Hall should operate with one simple philosophy: "How can we help?" I believe good leadership begins with listening, asking the right questions, and working together to solve problems. I support streamlining processes, improving communication, and delivering responsive, efficient service.
Fact-Based Decision Making
The best decisions are informed decisions. On issues like redevelopment, infrastructure, transportation, and public safety, Council should rely on current data, sound analysis, and thoughtful planning—not assumptions or politics.
Protecting Our Quality of Life
Marco Island’s quality of life is one of our greatest assets. We must consistently enforce existing codes and ordinances so issues like excessive noise, unsafe e‑bike use, and nuisance behavior are handled fairly, consistently, and respectfully.
Responsible Growth & Development
Growth should strengthen Marco Island—not change what makes it special. As a long-time member of the Marco Island Planning Board, and Planning Board Chair, I have both the knowledge of our Comprehensive Plan and the experience to ensure our island's growth is managed responsibly.
Community Involvement
For nearly 30 years, Jason has been actively involved in the Marco Island community through business leadership, civic service and in support of local organizations.
His commitment to service extends beyond meetings and committees—it reflects a genuine desire to help preserve and strengthen the community he proudly calls home.
